ABOUT US

Hillwalking Radio Club was formed in 2010 to provide safety communications for outdoor events across the Galtee mountains and it's environs. We are fully licensed by COMREG and all our members are trained as Community First Responders. Our club is built on the strength of volunteers, the support of our community and friendships we have built up over the years. Some of the events we support, The Winter Walking Festival, The Slievenamuck Half Marathon, The Pilgrims Walk Glen of Aherlow, The Ramble, The Winter Solstice on Slieve Ri and the Lantern and Starlight Walks at Christmas in Galbally. April 2nd. We will be running an online First Aid course for members.

March 29th. Supporting the Galtee Walking Club for the Slievenamuck Half Marathon.

Janurary 30th / 31st The Glen of Aherlow Winter Walking Festival.
